Wrapped images give a ‘gallery’ look to canvas art

Large format canvas wraps combine the best printing technology, genuine canvas and wooden artists stretchers.

The canvas is hand-stretched over a chunky 1” or 2” pine stretcher complete with corner wedges to maintain a taut finish. On the canvas print side of the stretcher the frame has a rounded lip to prevent show through from the front.

Block mounted prints are back in vogue – giving a contemporary frameless effect whilst creating standout by putting distance between wall and image plane.

MDF blockmount panels are finished to a very high standard. Images are digitally printed with state of the art equipment on to Kodak Endura photographic paper and then block mounted to 15mm MDF panels with matt black square cut edges. A mid-sheen heat seal is applied to protect the print and a ‘keyhole’ hanger is fitted to the rear of the panel.

This is a highly original display option that looks amazing and creates real standout for wall art in home and business interiors.

The ‘perspex float’ is a clear acrylic box frame with a solid recessed frame. The frame is constructed from thick pine batons and hardboard backing. The frame is hung using a wall-mountable support bar included.

Two versions of these acrylic frames – standard and ‘airgap’:

The standard float - the print is sandwiched between subframe and the perspex frame with no gap.

The ‘air-gap’ float - a deeper frame with a 1” air gap between print and the acrylic box frame front. The photographic print is drymounted and attached to the backing subframe.

This acrylic display 'float' has a very modern look and gives real emphasis and gloss. The air-gap float gives a 3D effect to an image.
